‘A Bond For Life’ concept

‘A Bond For Life’
Andrew Billing

Andrew Billing created this concept with an eye toward the aging population and increasing trends towards individual personalization.

According to Billing, the bond between people and products such as their vehicle appears to be decreasing, whereas some products seem to induce an emotional attachment so high that the owner will want to hang on to them for years, even after they have become obsolete.

“Much of the current market is turning towards cars being a fashion item, which can be swapped out and changed often,” he says. “This means there is an opening for a long life vehicle that will be desirable enough, to cause an emotional attachment, to make the owner bond with the vehicle and want to keep it year after year.”
