Chinese automaker Brilliance has hired Dimitri Vicedomini as its new design director.
The Italian designer has moved on to lead the Shenyang-based design center from his previous role at Pininfarina, where he led the design of several Brilliance-branded products including the Splendor, H530, Brilliance Zhonghua concept and FRV/FSV facelift. All of which have been positively received by customers in the Chinese market, Brilliance says.
With over 15 years design experience, Vicedomini was also involved in many Ferrari and Maserati programs while at Pininfarina, including the Ferrari FF and F12 Berlinetta and the Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo.
