Ford Appoints Amko Leenarts to Head Global Interior Design

Former Peugeot Head of Interior Design, Amko Leenarts, will join Ford Motor Company in an effort to define the company’s interior design strategy and create a more readily recognizable family feeling amongst the global automaker’s product range.

Appointed Interior Design Director Design Strategy – a newly created position within the Blue Oval’s design organization – Leenarts will report to Group Vice President of Global Design and Chief Creative Officer J Mays when he starts his new role June 1st.
