Mercedes-Benz Pure Light Concept by Lena Knab

Royal College of Art graduate Lena Knab created the Mercedes-Benz 'Pure Light' concept for the Chinese market.

The main objective in creating the four-person premium vehicle is relaxation, says Knab. As life in the tier-one cities becomes increasingly stressful, people are actively seeking new ways to relax and eco-luxury is rising.

Inspired by Taoism, the Mercedes-Benz branded 'Pure Light' concept uses super-conducting magnetic levitation technology to move between different areas of the city.


The floating feeling combined with the ease of movement and silence are key elements . . .
