Daihatsu revealed the Kopen at the 2013 Tokyo motor show, catering to the overall theme of its showstand: "PLAY Tomorrow! Exploring the further possibilities of mini vehicles."
The Kopen is an open-top sports car whose outer body panels -- made from resin -- can be exchanged like a cover, allowing drivers to enjoy different designs based on a single framework.
Daihatsu showcased two of these designs at the show, one with a "Stylish & Emotional" exterior and the other exemplifying a "Tough & Aggressive" demeanor.
