In Pictures: Coventry University Transportation Design Degree Show 2014

This year’s Coventry University degree show saw 82 students graduating from the Automotive, Transportation and Boat Design programs. With 44 students presenting milled models (up from five last year) the University’s new milling machine is proving very useful, and less expensive than the cost of having a model milled professionally — even if it’s sent to China.

Whilst the University’s new milling machine speeds up the process of creating a model, it also allows students to work on their Alias skills and refining techniques, and it’s an altogether more accurate reflection of how these young designers will be working once they start their careers in the industry.

Below is a photo gallery of the projects that caught our eye at the degree show. We’ll be bringing you detailed articles on each of these and more in due course.
