Land Rover Teases Discovery Vision Concept

Land Rover is poised to reveal its design vision for a new family of premium leisure SUVs at the 2014 New York auto show. Called the Discovery Vision Concept the new concept car will showcase the essence of a future family of SUVs built on Land Rover’s key principles.

“Discovery has been pivotal in helping to build the foundations of the Land Rover brand,” comments Gerry McGovern, Design Director and Chief Creative Officer for Land Rover. “It is admired all over the world and loved by its strong customer base.

“We have created the Vision Concept to share the essence of Land Rover’s new age of Discovery and to debut a new, compelling, relevant design direction that connects on an emotional level with customers of today and tomorrow.”


The new concept aims to push forward the company’s brand philosophy, which consist of three main pillars defined as ’emotive design, unrivalled capability and ultimate versatility’. Land Rover says this philosophy will be taken to new levels using new customer-focused advanced technologies.
