The Cleveland Institute of Art’s annual design show for undergraduate students included more than 100 Product Design, Transportation Design, Graphic Design and Interior Architecture projects. The transportation design work consisted of two sponsored projects, one for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and another for General Motors (GM).
The FCA project focused on the design of a 2030 Dodge performance vehicle, while students were asked to envision a 2030 Cadillac four-door Coupe for GM. Seniors and juniors participated in both projects, which required them to integrate emerging technologies into the concepts and explore new directions for the brands’ design languages . . .
