The Chinese auto industry is booming, evidenced at this year’s Auto China 2018 show in Beijing. With a startling array of new production of concept vehicles -- both from domestic and state-owned Chinese automakers and those backed by western entities -- the main takeaway is the sheer number of new brands and sub-brands coming to market.
